Asia Sustainable Investment Forum (AsiaSIF) is a regional platform dedicated to advancing sustainable investment, transition finance, and impact investment across Asia. AsiaSIF’s network brings together Sustainable Investment Fora (SIFs) and market participants from across Asia.
Mission Statement
AsiaSIF’s mission is to promote and advance sustainable investment, sustainable finance, transition finance, and impact investment across Asia as well as facilitating sustainable investment flows between Asia and other regions. Our goal is to de-risk and mobilise capital into energy transition and nature finance across the Asia Pacific, bridging the “missing middle” between ambition and deployment.

We envision an Asia where sustainability commitments are reliably converted into bankable projects at scale; where investors have transparent access to the region’s most impactful opportunities, where Asian capital markets are recognised globally as leaders in responsible and transition finance, and where the missing middle in climate and nature investment no longer exists.

Theory of Change
AsiaSIF’s theory of change centres on bridging the “missing middle”, the financing gap that prevents climate and nature solutions from scaling beyond the pilot stage.
We do this by greening Asia’s financial system from the inside: engaging central banks and commercial banks on decarbonisation pathways; connecting international capital with Asia’s most strategic institutional investors and state-owned enterprises; and convening the dialogues between investors, corporations, regulators, and governments that allow trust, standards, and deal flow to develop.
By building the missing bridges across transition finance, real economy decarbonisation, and capital markets, AsiaSIF aims to unlock Asia’s most significant and underserved investment opportunity.
Our Founders
AsiaSIF was co-founded by Yvonne Huang and Helen Jia through their shared vehicle, Earth & Life Symbio. Together, they bring over five decades of combined experience spanning finance, climate policy, ESG integration, and real economy decarbonisation, uniquely positioned to build the bridges Asia’s sustainable investment ecosystem needs.
Yvonne Huang — Executive Director & Co-Founder
A seasoned board director, Yvonne sits on multiple charity boards across Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Formerly with CapitaLand, she served as Lead Representative of GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) in Asia, championing the integration of ESG principles across infrastructure and real estate portfolios. Yvonne brings multi-sector strategic insight and governance expertise to the sustainable investment landscape.
Helen Jia — Engagement Director & Co-Founder
Helen has accumulated deep expertise in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change in China and global sustainable supply chains since the Kyoto Protocol era. With nearly 30 years of experience across the energy, industrial, and financial sectors, she has led successful projects for companies and government agencies alike, and is recognised as a trusted advisor for delivering practical, high-impact solutions.
